Central China New Life Limited (CC New Life) reported that every motion tabled at its Annual General Meeting on 1 June 2026 was approved by shareholders through a poll, reflecting near-unanimous support across key items.

Key approvals

1. FY2025 Financial Statements • The audited consolidated financial statements and accompanying reports for the year ended 31 December 2025 were endorsed with 945.29 million votes in favour (99.997%), versus 33,000 votes against (0.003%).

2. Board Composition and Remuneration • Executive Director Mr Yan Xuewen and Independent Non-executive Directors Mr Leong Chong and Ms Luo Laura Ying were all re-elected. • Support levels ranged from 99.92% to 100.00%. • The Board was authorised to determine directors’ remuneration, backed by 99.997% of votes cast.

3. Auditor Re-appointment • Prism Hong Kong Limited was re-appointed as external auditor for the year ending 31 December 2026, with 944.59 million votes in favour (99.92%).

4. Share Issuance and Repurchase Mandates • A general mandate to issue additional shares and an extension thereof both received 98.29% approval. • A separate mandate permitting share repurchases was passed with 100.00% support.

Voting statistics

• Shares in issue and eligible to vote: 1.30 billion. • No shareholders were required to abstain, and no parties signalled an intention to vote against any motion ahead of the meeting. • Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited acted as scrutineer; all directors participated in person or electronically.
