MeiG Smart Technology Co., Ltd. (MEIG) announced that its board approved the proposed 2026 A-Share Equity Incentive Plan on 24 July 2026 and will present the scheme to shareholders for approval at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM).

The proposed plan combines share options and restricted shares and is designed to: • strengthen corporate governance and the incentive–restraint mechanism; • align the interests of shareholders, the company and key employees; • encourage management and core backbone staff to focus on MEIG’s medium- and long-term goals.

Eligibility covers middle-level managers and core employees who maintain labour or employment contracts with MEIG, its branches or controlled subsidiaries during the appraisal period. A detailed participant list is available on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Stock Exchange websites.

In line with Chapter 17 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules, formal adoption of the plan requires shareholder approval. MEIG will dispatch a circular containing full details of the incentive plan, appraisal measures and proposed board authorisations ahead of the EGM.

As of the announcement date, the board comprises Executive Directors Wang Ping, Du Guobin, Xia Youqing and Huang Min, as well as Independent Non-Executive Directors Dr. Ma Lijun, Yang Zheng and Liu Jia.
