On September 2nd, international oil prices experienced an upward trend. By the close of trading that day, the price of light crude oil for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange increased by 79 cents, settling at $91.01 per barrel, a rise of 0.88%. Meanwhile, London Brent crude oil futures for November delivery climbed 98 cents to close at $95.63 per barrel, marking an increase of 1.04%.

The next fuel price adjustment is scheduled for 24:00 on September 11th. While the current adjustment cycle initially showed expectations for a decrease, the significant surge in international crude oil over the past two days has shifted the forecast from a decline to an increase, with the projected hike continuously widening.

During the 10-working-day statistical period for this adjustment, influenced by the continued sharp rise in international oil prices on the 2nd, the current crude oil change rate has reached 2.01%. This suggests an estimated increase of 100 yuan per ton in fuel prices. Based on this expected rise, gasoline and diesel prices are projected to go up by approximately 0.08 to 0.09 yuan per liter.
