Pine Tech (01079) announced that the group expects to record an unaudited consolidated net loss after tax of no less than approximately HK$14.5 million for the year ending June 30, 2025 (fiscal year 2025), compared to an audited consolidated net profit after tax of approximately HK$45 million for the year ending June 30, 2024 (fiscal year 2024). The shift from an audited consolidated net profit after tax in fiscal year 2024 to an unaudited consolidated net loss after tax in fiscal year 2025 is primarily attributed to the group's recognition of a one-time gain of approximately HK$57.4 million from the disposal of a subsidiary in fiscal year 2024, while no such gain was recorded in fiscal year 2025.
