GuocoLand (Malaysia) finalises court-approved selective capital reduction

GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad announced that the High Court order confirming its selective capital reduction and repayment exercise was lodged with the Registrar of Companies on Jul, 31 2026, making the privatisation effective the same day.

The company said payment of the offer price to entitled shareholders will be completed on Aug, 7 2026.

The move marks the formal conclusion of GuocoLand (Malaysia)’s privatisation process under Section 116 of the Companies Act, 2016.
