Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. (BANKCOMM) has closed the public issuance of its “2026 Tier-2 Capital Notes (Series 1) (Bond Connect)” in the China Interbank Bond Market. The transaction reached financial close on 27 April 2026.

The bond issue carries the following key terms: • Size: RMB40.00 billion • Tenor: 10 years • Coupon: 1.97% fixed rate • Embedded option: issuer may redeem the notes at the end of the fifth year, subject to conditions

Net proceeds, after deducting issuance expenses, will be applied to replenish BANKCOMM’s tier-2 capital in accordance with regulatory approvals and relevant laws.
