Beijing Enterprises Urban Resources Group Limited (BJ ENT URBAN, 03718 HK) issued a positive profit alert, indicating that profit attributable to shareholders for the 12 months ended 31 December 2025 is expected to rise by more than 750% year-on-year.

Management attributed the anticipated earnings jump to four factors: 1) Expanded urban services operations coupled with higher operating efficiency; 2) Lower finance costs following bank-loan settlements and refinancing at reduced interest rates; 3) A smaller impairment loss on non-current assets related to hazardous-waste treatment projects; and 4) A one-off gain from liquidating a hazardous-waste treatment subsidiary.

The figures are based on unaudited consolidated management accounts and may be adjusted during the final audit. The company plans to release its full FY2025 results by the end of March 2026.
