JACOBIO-B's stock soared 5.35% during the intraday session on Wednesday, driven by a confluence of positive developments from the company's 2025 annual results and clinical pipeline.

The biopharmaceutical company reported a narrowed net loss of approximately RMB 146 million for 2025, a 6.25% improvement year-on-year, supported by a significant 42.9% reduction in research and development expenses. A key highlight was the exclusive licensing and collaboration agreement signed with AstraZeneca AB for the global development and commercialization of its pan-KRAS inhibitor, JAB-23E73. The deal includes an upfront payment of $100 million to Jacobio and potential milestone payments totaling up to $1.915 billion, plus tiered royalties on future net sales.

Investor sentiment was further bolstered by newly disclosed Phase I clinical data for JAB-23E73. In a cohort of 13 evaluable KRAS-mutated pancreatic cancer patients, the candidate demonstrated an objective response rate of 38.5% and a favorable safety profile with notably low gastrointestinal toxicity. This data, positioning JAB-23E73 competitively against other assets in the promising pan-KRAS therapeutic space, was published just prior to the market open. Additionally, the company's first commercialized drug, glecirasib, was approved in China and added to the National Reimbursement Drug List in 2025, contributing to revenue.
