Shenzhen Zhaowei Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. (ZHAOWEI) repurchased 71,700 H-shares on 17 September 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares, bought at prices ranging from HK$37.00 to HK$37.98 and averaging HK$37.58, were transferred to treasury, bringing total consideration to HK$2.69 million.
Following the transaction, ZHAOWEI’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell 0.27% to 26.14 million shares, while treasury holdings rose to 605,600 shares. The company’s total issued share count remains unchanged at 26.75 million shares.
The latest buyback forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 22 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 2.67 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 605,600 shares, representing 2.26% of the share capital outstanding on the mandate date and utilising roughly 22.64% of the authorised limit.
In line with Hong Kong listing rules, ZHAOWEI is subject to a 30-day moratorium—through 17 October 2026—during which it may not issue new shares or dispose of treasury stock without prior Exchange approval.
