CTS Corp's stock soared 5.30% intraday on Wednesday, following the release of the company's first-quarter 2026 financial results.
The sensor and component maker reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.62, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $0.52 by 19.23%. Quarterly sales reached $139.23 million, surpassing estimates of $136.83 million and representing an 11% increase year-over-year. Furthermore, the company narrowed and raised the lower end of its full-year 2026 guidance, now expecting sales between $560 million and $580 million and adjusted diluted EPS in the range of $2.35 to $2.45.
The strong quarterly performance was driven by growth across diversified end-markets, including industrial, aerospace & defense, and medical, which saw an 18% year-over-year sales increase. Adjusted gross margin also expanded to 39.5% from 37.0% a year ago, supporting higher profitability.
