MetaOptics Ltd (9MT) announced on Oct, 22 2025 that it received the “Startup Innovation Award” at the 2025 “Taiwan Weeks” Asia Innovation Cup Demo Day, held on Oct, 21 2025 in Taipei.

The Demo Day, jointly hosted by the Financial Supervisory Commission, Taiwan Stock Exchange, Taipei Exchange, Taiwan Futures Exchange and Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation, attracted more than 70 startup teams, including nine international participants from Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and Finland. Twelve finalists were shortlisted.

MetaOptics, a Singapore-based semiconductor optics firm, was recognised for its work in scalable metalens manufacturing. The company’s milestones include direct fabrication of metalenses on 300-millimetre glass wafers, rapid prototyping with Direct Laser Writer technology and optical solutions for smart devices, autonomous vehicles and AR/VR displays.
