Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh has brought on two conservative policy analysts, Paul Winfree and Daniel Heil, to serve as temporary advisors, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Paul Winfree previously worked in the White House during the first term of former President Donald Trump. He authored a chapter critical of the Federal Reserve for the Heritage Foundation's "Project 2025." The White House also considered nominating him for a seat on the Federal Reserve Board in 2019.

Daniel Heil has previously collaborated with Warsh at the Hoover Institution, specializing in fiscal policy and anti-poverty program research. He also served as an advisor during Jeb Bush's 2016 presidential campaign.

These sources indicated that both individuals will assist Warsh with policy analysis and specific research projects, and their appointments are temporary. A spokesperson for the Federal Reserve declined to comment.
