On July 24th, the Ministry of Water Resources held a press conference detailing the progress and achievements in water infrastructure construction for the first half of 2026.

During the event, Vice Minister Sun Zhiyu presented an overview of the advancements. He was joined by Li Ming, Director of the Planning and Programming Department; Shang Quanmin, Director of the Water Project Construction Management Department; and Ni Wenjin, Director of the Rural Water Resources and Hydropower Department, who collectively addressed questions from the media.
