As Typhoon "Saudel" (a severe typhoon) steadily approaches, it is expected to have a significant impact on the city. In accordance with the Ningbo Flood Prevention, Typhoon Preparedness, and Drought Relief Emergency Plan, and following a thorough assessment and consultation, the municipal flood control headquarters has decided to elevate the typhoon emergency response to Level II starting at 12 PM on August 26.

To ensure the safety of both residents and tourists, all 60 scenic spots in Ningbo that involve mountains, water, or sea areas will be temporarily closed from 5 PM on August 26. This includes eight sea-related scenic spots that have already been closed since 8 AM on the same day. Waterfalls and streams are expected to swell as the storm intensifies.

Residents are strongly advised to avoid going out during the typhoon's impact period and to stay away from hazardous areas such as coastlines, riverbanks, and hillsides to ensure personal safety. For the latest updates, please refer to the official announcements from each scenic spot.

In Haishu District: Tianyi Pavilion & Moon Lake Scenic Area, Wulongtan Scenic Area, Zhedong Grand Bamboo Sea Scenic Area, Banshan Banshui Scenic Area, and Lijiakeng Scenic Area.

In Jiangbei District: Baoguo Temple Ancient Architecture Museum and Lvye Shanjv (Lvye Happy Valley).

In Zhenhai District: Jiulong Lake Tourist Resort, Zhaobao Mountain Scenic Area, and Zheng's Shijiafang Scenic Area.

In Beilun District: Jiufeng Mountain Tourist Area and Meishan Bay Beach Park.

In Yinzhou District: Hengxi Scenic Tourist Area and Tiantong Old Street Scenic Area.

In Fenghua District: Xikou-Tengtou Scenic Area, Yantou Ancient Village Scenic Area, Dayan Wudongqiao Scenic Area, Shuimo Matou Scenic Area, Maitreya Cultural Park Scenic Area, and Huangxian Forest Park.

In Yuyao City: Danshan Chishui, Zhedong (Siming Mountain) Anti-Japanese Base Memorial Sites, Tianxia Yuyuan, Zhedong Xiaojiuzhai Scenic Area, Siming Mountain Geopark, Siming Mountain National Forest Park, Hua'an Mountain Yangming Hot Spring Tourist Area (Yangming Hot Spring Villa), Luting Zhongcun Scenic Area, Qicai Bailu Scenic Area, Luohan Valley, and Hemudu Archaeological Ruins Park.

In Cixi City: Dapeng Mountain Tourist Resort, Fangjia Hetou, Minghe Ancient Town, Celadon Cultural Heritage Park, Xirang Town, and Wulei Mountain Scenic Area.

In Ninghai County: Ninghai Forest Hot Spring, Wushan Grottoes, Lianghuang Mountain Tourist Area, Dongshan Peach Garden, Nanshan Huayu Scenic Area, Xujiashan Historical and Cultural Village, Hengshan Island Scenic Area, and Zhedong Diyijian.

In Xiangshan County: Songlan Mountain Coastal Tourist Resort, Xiangshan Film and Television City, Dongdan Fashion Sports Leisure Beach, China Fisherman Village, Xieqiangang Scenic Area, Hai Zhi Wan Outdoor Base, Hua'ao Island, Tantou Mountain Island, Lingyan Volcano Peak, and Donghai Lingyan.
