Bank of Communications Announces Retirement of Business Director Tu Hong

On March 4, Bank of Communications announced that Tu Hong, having reached retirement age, has submitted a written resignation report to the board of directors, stepping down from his role as Business Director (Interbank and Market Business). His resignation will take effect on March 4, 2026.

Tu Hong joined Bank of Communications in 1989 and previously held several key positions, including President of the bank's Shanghai Branch, Chairman of BoCom Wealth Management Co., Ltd., General Manager of the Financial Institutions Department at the headquarters, President of the Asset Management Business Center, President of the Financial Markets Business Center, President of the Financial Markets Business Center/Precious Metals Business Center, General Manager of the Financial Markets Department, General Manager of the New York Branch, Deputy General Manager of the International Business Department at the headquarters, and Deputy President of the Guangzhou Branch.

He has confirmed that there are no disagreements with the board of directors or senior management and no matters requiring notification to shareholders or creditors. His departure will not affect the board's operations or the bank's management, and a smooth handover of duties has been completed.
