NEW TIMES CORP (00166) announced its annual results for the period ending December 31, 2025. The group recorded revenue of HKD 14.928 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 37.35%. The annual loss amounted to HKD 787 million, expanding by 800.34% compared to the previous year. The basic loss per share was HKD 0.0889. Revenue from the precious metals refining and trading business increased by HKD 4.0999 billion during the year, primarily driven by a sharp rise in local gold prices. This increase was partially offset by a decrease of HKD 40.6 million in revenue from petroleum and natural gas products, mainly due to lower production and sales volumes of natural gas in Canada.
