Haier Smart Home Initiates New Organisational Restructuring, Establishes Major White Goods Division

Market sources indicate that, according to an internal source at Haier Smart Home, the company has launched a new phase of organisational restructuring to align with the AI era, building upon the previous integration of its large heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) division. This move establishes three major new platforms: a Major White Goods Platform, an Overseas Brand-Building Platform, and a Greater China Region Platform.

This adjustment represents another significant realignment of the company's industrial platforms following the completion of its "Large HVAC" industrial platform integration. Information suggests the new Major White Goods Platform expands upon the former large kitchen appliance business by further integrating the laundry appliance segment. This aims to create a synergistic link between core white goods categories such as refrigerators, kitchen appliances, and washing machines.

In Haier Smart Home's 2025 annual report, under the section discussing "Reorganising the Organisational Structure to Embrace AI Application Opportunities," smart home appliances were explicitly defined as "primarily including white goods such as refrigerators, washing machines, and kitchen appliances." Following its establishment, the Major White Goods Platform will transition from a model where product categories operated relatively independently with dispersed resources to a unified system for resource allocation and coordinated operations across all categories. This is intended to better implement comprehensive, one-stop smart home solution packages.

This organisational restructuring aligns with the three growth trajectories for the AI era announced at a recent Haier Smart Home shareholders' meeting. These are: strengthening the first curve by deepening the core smart home business and upgrading from smart appliances to smart homes and smart living; broadening the second curve by expanding the boundaries of the living ecosystem, leveraging industries like large HVAC and commercial refrigeration to extend from single products to integrated solutions and from consumer to business markets; and extending the third curve by focusing on AI for the future, with household robots as a key direction.

In terms of financial performance, Haier Smart Home reported full-year 2025 revenue of 302.347 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.71%. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached 19.553 billion yuan, up 4.39% year-on-year, with both revenue and net profit hitting new historical highs. Full-year overseas revenue amounted to 154.545 billion yuan, an 8.15% increase, accounting for over 51% of total revenue.
