Shandong Branch has been penalized for multiple regulatory violations. The branch received a warning and a public reprimand, along with a fine of 1.742 million yuan.

The specific violations include: 1. Breaching financial statistical regulations; 2. Violating account management rules; 3. Failing to comply with data security management requirements; 4. Infringing upon renminbi circulation regulations; 5. Misappropriating fiscal funds; 6. Breaching rules related to the provision of credit information; 7. Failing to conduct customer due diligence as required; 8. Not reporting suspicious transactions in accordance with regulations; 9. Providing services and conducting transactions for unidentified clients.

The penalty was issued by the Shandong branch of the People's Bank of China under decision number Lu Yin Fa Jue Zi [2026] No. 2, dated February 9, 2026. The information will remain publicly available for a period of three years.
