According to a Reuters report citing an unnamed informed source, supervisors at the European Central Bank are preparing to issue a warning to banking professionals about the risks associated with the newly launched Mythos artificial intelligence model from Anthropic. The model has the potential to significantly enhance capabilities for cyber attacks.

The report stated that ECB supervisors are currently gathering information about the model in order to discuss this new potential source of risk with the banks under their supervision.
