NVIDIA Reportedly Increases Kit Prices for Most GeForce RTX GPUs, Excluding Top Models

According to industry reports, NVIDIA has informed its downstream AIC partners of a price increase for GPU core and VRAM memory kits. This adjustment impacts nearly the entire GeForce RTX lineup, with only the previously price-adjusted RTX 5090 and 5090 D v2 models being excluded.

The reported price hike is primarily attributed to upstream DRAM suppliers raising their quotations for GDDR7 and GDDR6 memory to NVIDIA. The company is reportedly unable to absorb these increased costs alone and is therefore sharing the burden with the AIC partners responsible for manufacturing the graphics cards.

Concurrently, other components for the graphics cards, such as power delivery systems, PCBs, and cooling solutions, are also facing ongoing cost pressures beyond the core kits.
