Unlike traditional contact tonometers, TONO-i can be used safely without anesthesia, offering painless measurement with no risk of infection. TONO-i will serve as an important component of the company's glaucoma medical product portfolio, addressing the demand gap created by China's low diagnosis and treatment rates. TONO-i provides ophthalmologists with a tool to easily, accurately, and comprehensively monitor patients' intraocular pressure, helping to provide immediate and continuous feedback on treatment effectiveness and improving patient compliance with glaucoma medication therapy. The addition of TONO-i to the company's pipeline marks the company's commitment to a dual approach of treatment and diagnosis in glaucoma management. In November 2022, the company entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with C&V Tech regarding TONO-i. C&V Tech is a leading company in the field of developing medical devices for diagnosing, treating, and preventing glaucoma. Under the terms of the agreement, the company holds exclusive rights to register, import, promote, distribute, market, and sell TONO-i in Greater China. These rights were subsequently expanded through contractual amendments to include Thailand and Malaysia, effective from August 2024.
