Smart Eye (OTC: SMTEF) has secured an additional in-cabin sensing order from a major global original equipment manufacturer (OEM), expanding the scope of a previously awarded vehicle program.

The order adds in-cabin sensing functionality to three vehicle models that already utilize Smart Eye's driver monitoring system software. This expansion is projected to generate an additional SEK 150 million in lifetime revenue.

The three enhanced models are scheduled to commence production in 2027, with the upgrades aimed at improving their potential Euro NCAP safety ratings.

Smart Eye has now accumulated 376 design wins from 24 different OEMs. Its in-cabin sensing system is currently being used by four OEMs across 15 vehicle models.

The total estimated lifetime value of all current design wins exceeds SEK 7.565 billion.
