Aehr Test's stock surged 5.21% in pre-market trading following the publication of a corporate presentation that highlighted expanding demand for the company's wafer-level test and burn-in systems.

The presentation pointed to growing demand tied to AI processors, data center infrastructure, electrification, silicon photonics, SiC, and GaN applications. The company's FOX-XP wafer-level platform is positioned for high-volume production with the capability to test up to 18 wafers in parallel.

Aehr Test also highlighted AI-driven business ramps, including production capacity additions for wafer-level burn-in, a paid production evaluation, and a comarketing partnership with ISE/ASE. The company's Sonoma high-power package-level burn-in platform is already shipping in volume with liquid cooling capabilities.
