During the 2026 World Robot Congress (WRC 2026), UBTECH ROBOTICS showcased its latest lineup of humanoid robots and integrated solutions designed for industrial, commercial, and home consumer applications, as reported on the afternoon of August 20th.
At the exhibition, the Cruzr Y1 and Cruzr S2 industrial humanoid robots conducted live operations throughout the event, demonstrating four key application scenarios: loading and unloading of automotive sheet metal parts, handling of machined components, palletizing and depalletizing of containers and cartons, and sorting of small items in e-commerce logistics. These demonstrations covered the entire chain of industrial production, material handling, and warehouse logistics operations.
In the commercial service arena, UBTECH ROBOTICS introduced its newly launched full-size humanoid service robot, the Walker C1. Notably, for the foundational education sector, the Walker C1 EDU Tutor, debuting at this congress, integrates the UIRO intelligent assistant system. It can independently conduct lessons, explain problems on captured images, answer questions intelligently, and facilitate multimodal classroom interactions, offering a comprehensive, intelligent, and personalized teaching assistant solution that supports the digital upgrade of basic education.
Additionally, UBTECH ROBOTICS' hyper-realistic humanoid robot, UBTECH World U1, stood out at the event. Unlike traditional robots with mechanical and programmed interaction patterns, the U1 is equipped with the company's self-developed Resonance-LM emotion large model, enabling warm and empathetic companionship for users.
