Hong Kong, 27 June 2026—Namyue Holdings released its Environmental, Social and Governance Report for the year ended 31 December 2025, detailing notable progress in carbon reduction, resource efficiency and workplace safety across its leather processing operations.

Environmental Performance Highlights

• Greenhouse gases: Direct (Scope 1) emissions dropped 48.1% to 93.81 tonnes of CO₂-equivalent, while indirect (Scope 2) emissions fell 41.1% to 2,182.90 tonnes. Emission intensity declined to 1.62 tonnes per 10,000 sq ft of leather, achieving the company’s annual reduction target.

• Energy: Electricity consumption fell 6.26% to 5,696.41 MWh; intensity was cut to 4.18 MWh per 10,000 sq ft, a 27.6% year-on-year improvement that met the 5% reduction goal. Steam usage declined 11.7% to 20,566 tonnes, with intensity down 29.8%. Gasoline and diesel use decreased 77.8% and 31.0% respectively after the disposal of several fuel-powered vehicles and forklifts.

• Water: Total consumption rose 24.8% to 455,861 tonnes due to a higher production mix of water-intensive processes, yet water intensity improved 13.7% to 237.18 tonnes per 10,000 sq ft, exceeding the 5% reduction target.

• Waste: Hazardous waste volume increased to 1,083.60 tonnes, reflecting higher production, but intensity fell 8.2% to 0.56 tonnes per 10,000 sq ft, meeting the 5% reduction target. Non-hazardous waste intensity improved 19.5% to 2.11 tonnes per 10,000 sq ft despite a rise in absolute volume.

• Air emissions: Nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions fell 28.7% to 746.69 kg; sulfur oxides and particulate matter also declined.

Governance and Risk Management

The board retains ultimate responsibility for ESG oversight, supported by a dedicated management team and functional departments. A materiality assessment prioritised occupational safety, product quality, supplier management and climate change. Climate scenario analysis highlighted acute and chronic physical risks—such as extreme weather—and transition risks linked to evolving regulations; mitigation includes strengthened disaster recovery planning and ongoing policy monitoring.

Workforce & Safety

• Headcount: 223 employees, 80% male and 20% female; 98% full-time. • Turnover: Monthly average staff turnover stood at 1.60%, with higher attrition among younger employees. • Training: 58.30% of staff received training, averaging 1.78 hours per employee; 86% of senior management attended integrity and anti-corruption sessions. • Safety: Lost workdays from injury dropped to 43 (2024: 120); no work-related fatalities for the third consecutive year.

Supply Chain & Product Responsibility

Namyue managed 80 active suppliers in Mainland China, all subject to annual performance and compliance reviews. No product recalls or customer data breaches were reported. The company’s quality control system and customer feedback mechanism remain in force to safeguard product standards.

Looking Ahead

The group will continue its three-year action plan (2024-2026) to address root causes of production safety risks and aims to further lower greenhouse-gas intensity, enhance water stewardship and expand cleaner production technologies, including chromium-free eco-leather development.
