Electro Optic Systems Holdings Ltd's stock soared 6.02% intraday on Friday, following a series of announcements regarding its Marss business and acquisition progress.
The company reported that due to recent conflicts in the Middle East, its Marss division has seen a rise in customer enquiries for its systems. This increased demand comes as the company announced revised agreement terms for the acquisition of Marss assets and made an upfront payment of US$36 million for the transaction.
To support the acquisition, Electro Optic Systems Holdings also drew a $70 million term loan facility, indicating progress in financing the deal. The combination of heightened customer interest in Marss systems and forward momentum in the acquisition process appears to be driving investor optimism.
