On August 28, Li Yunfei, General Manager of Brand and Public Relations at BYD Group, posted on Weibo announcing that he had changed his username from "不會功夫的武功李雲飛" (Li Yunfei from Wugong who doesn't know martial arts) to @比亞迪李雲飛 (BYD Li Yunfei), explaining the reasoning behind the name change.

Li Yunfei stated that he had been using the username "不會武功的武功李雲飛" for 15 years, originally choosing it to be unique and distinctive while also promoting his hometown of Wugong in Shaanxi Province. However, many colleagues and online users indicated that the name was difficult to search for and somewhat awkward to pronounce.

"As BYD Company Limited's brand officer, I should first and foremost listen to advice," Li Yunfei remarked. He explained that the new username "BYD Li Yunfei" makes it easier for people to find him - "searchable at a glance and understandable immediately." He added, "Although the name has changed, I'm still the same person - passionate, hardworking, serious, relatively straightforward, and a somewhat spirited individual from Wugong, Shaanxi!"
