On December 4, Alibaba's Qianwen introduced new capabilities tailored for office and writing scenarios, integrating document generation, intelligent formatting, online editing, and multi-format conversion into a one-stop solution. Additionally, a new PPT generation feature has been launched, enabling Qianwen to accurately summarize and intelligently match templates based on various inputs such as images, documents, and voice recordings. These features are currently available to all users free of charge.

Now, users no longer need to open multiple Office applications—they can simply interact with Qianwen. The AI will automatically generate well-structured Word documents with clear themes and intelligent formatting, streamlining the process from ideation to final draft.

If users request a presentation based on existing materials, Qianwen will first generate an editable PPT outline. Upon confirmation, the full presentation can be generated with a single click. The tool extracts key information from the materials and pairs it with professional business-style templates. Users can also switch templates instantly if unsatisfied. Once adjustments are complete, the output can be exported as a PPT, PDF, or long-form image.

Qianwen's formatting capabilities include official templates from nearly 1,000 universities, over 120 official document templates, and nearly 10,000 contract templates across 71 categories, intelligently matching user needs. Instead of receiving partially formatted drafts requiring further adjustments, users obtain professionally formatted, editable final documents.

Qianwen's smart editor supports more granular operations. For documents, users can not only edit text directly but also leverage AI to refine, expand, or adjust the style of specific sections. For PPT content, users can modify outlines and body text via conversational commands and switch templates with a single click.
