Chen Hsong Holdings released its 2025/26 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, outlining an expanded sustainability roadmap anchored by the newly-established “MOULD Sustainability Framework.” The five-pillar structure—Managing Sustainability Governance, Optimising Environmental Protection, Upholding Employment & Labour Practices, Leading Responsible Operating Practices, and Deepening Community Investment—guides policy execution, risk controls and long-term targets across the Group’s operations in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan.

Key governance upgrades include an Internal ESG Committee that reports directly to the Board and integrates ESG oversight with risk management. All major subsidiaries maintained ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications during the period.

Climate action intensified with the Group’s first climate-scenario analysis referencing HKEX guidance and the GHG Protocol. Scope 1 emissions reached 973.47 tonnes of CO₂e, Scope 2 location-based emissions 23,763.01 tonnes of CO₂e (market-based 21,239.12 tonnes), and Scope 3 emissions (Categories 1, 2 & 11) 61,015.12 tonnes of CO₂e. Total energy consumption declined 2.8 % year on year to 48,630.28 MWh, driven by a 3 % cut in purchased electricity to 44,865.58 MWh. Electricity-use and GHG-intensity targets were tightened by 3 % for 2025/26.

Resource-efficiency programmes delivered a 4 % fall in non-hazardous solid-waste generation to 7,396.38 tonnes, while hazardous waste rose 8 % to 246.11 tonnes amid capacity upgrades. Water-saving initiatives limited total consumption to 231,718 m³; the Group aims to trim water-intensity by a further 3 % in 2025/26.

Operationally, Chen Hsong deepened smart-factory deployment. The iChen™ Smart Family ecosystem—comprising iChen™ Cloud, iChen™ Smart Factory and iChen™ AI Molder—integrates AIoT connectivity, digital-twin visualisation and mixed-reality maintenance. New product launches, including the SPARK AE60 all-electric precision machine and NTP DMZE III sandwich-moulding series, target high-growth segments such as in-mould labelling, advanced 3C parts and medical consumables, enabling up to 50 % recycled-material usage and process-variability cuts exceeding 30 %.

Employee wellbeing remained a focus. The Group fully rolled out an integrated Electronic Human Resources (EHR) system covering recruitment, attendance, performance and learning, and delivered an average 10.46 training hours per staff member, with 89.36 % workforce participation. Average monthly employee turnover fell to 1.55 %. Occupational-safety systems certified to ISO 45001 continued across flagship plants; no work-related fatalities occurred during the year, though one was recorded in 2024/25.

Community investment reached HK$ 15.00 million and RMB 0.26 million, centred on disaster relief, public health and education. Following the Tai Po Wang Fuk Court fire, Chen Hsong’s major shareholder donated HK$ 15.00 million to the government relief fund and air-freighted emergency partitions from Foshan within 72 hours. Staff contributed six volunteer hours and 14,700 ml of blood via organised drives.

Looking forward, Chen Hsong plans to refine climate targets, expand digital manufacturing solutions and sustain stakeholder collaboration to advance its long-term ESG commitments.
