Chinese property stocks continued their upward trajectory during early trading hours. SUNAC (01918) rose 3.64% to HKD 0.57, CIFI HOLD GP (00884) gained 2.7% to HKD 0.038, and SEAZEN (01030) advanced 2.07% to HKD 1.48.

The National Bureau of Statistics previously released data showing multiple positive developments in the first-half real estate market: first-tier city housing prices have risen for four consecutive months, the secondary market is seeing active trading, and commercial housing inventory has declined for four consecutive months.

Goldman Sachs has raised its forecast for this year's housing price decline, citing sustained sales recovery in June and stronger-than-expected selling prices. Citigroup has issued a research report suggesting that from September onwards, developers will intensify new property launches, supported by resilient transaction volumes in core cities and low-base effects. The investment bank also expects a major policy meeting at the end of July to deliver supportive signals, potentially including further easing of measures such as provident fund home purchases and trade-in programs. This combination, according to Citi, could stabilize sales growth in the July-to-September period. The broker believes the property sector is now positioned for a rally running from August through October.
