At its 2026 interim results conference held on August 28, Postal Savings Bank Of China Co.,Ltd. (PSBC) Deputy President and Chief Information Officer Niu Xinzhuang stated that the bank has successfully implemented more than 370 large language model application scenarios to date. The daily volume of model calls now surpasses 10 million, with daily input and output tokens exceeding 30 billion.

This technological push is driving a shift towards a customer-centric approach, aiming for "one customer, one smart bank" externally, and "one role, one intelligent assistant" internally. The institution's services are transitioning from being experience-driven to intelligence-driven. Niu further elaborated that the bank has developed a retail marketing intelligent agent capable of dynamically generating personalized marketing plans, which has already reached 54 million high-quality customers. Additionally, an intelligent industry chain business development assistant has been launched, with more than ten application scenarios planned.

Leveraging these intelligent agents, the bank has assisted in completing the account opening process for over 6,000 corporate clients and provided credit to more than 2,000 others, with the total credit amount nearing RMB 310 billion. Management operations are now shifting from manual analysis to human-machine collaboration, deeply embedding AI into key operational management stages such as identification, review, and risk control. Currently, the proportion of document intelligent recognition replacing manual data entry at operational centers has already exceeded 90%.
