SOHO China’s 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report discloses RMB 1.37 billion in rental income and an average occupancy rate of 82.8%, up 5.1 percentage points year-on-year.

Key governance metrics show an ISO 37301 compliance certification obtained during the year and a Board structure in which independent directors account for 42.86%.

Environmental performance is led by science-based climate targets validated by SBTi. Scope 1–3 emissions fell 43.1% from the 2021 base year, and 135.06 million kWh of green power was purchased, cutting 72,473 tonnes of CO₂. Energy-saving projects delivered annual savings of 50,787 MWh, while total energy consumption intensity stood at 0.038 MWh per m². All 24 investment properties now hold green or healthy-building certificates, including 24 WELL HSR ratings and nine LEED labels.

Green leasing accelerated: 1,881 green lease contracts were signed in 2025, covering 637,200 m²; 100% of new tenants adopted green clauses. Newly delivered green fit-out space reached 36,500 m², taking the cumulative total to 48,100 m².

Supplier oversight tightened with 100% of suppliers signing the Green Procurement and Business Ethics Commitment Letter, and 475 suppliers underwent ESG qualification checks.

On the social front, staff Net Promoter Score reached 4.61/5, with an average 28.42 training hours per employee; no work-related fatalities were reported. Volunteer programmes provided 400 service hours, benefiting about 2,000 people, while RMB 3.97 million was channelled into rural education and revitalisation via the SOHO China Foundation.

The company confirms it will continue pursuing its validated net-zero target for 2050, maintain its five-star GRESB rating, and expand digital energy-carbon management across the portfolio.
