Sunshine Oil (02012) has announced that on August 23, 2026, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sangxiang Petrochemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., will jointly invest with several partners to establish Dinenng Intelligent Computing Artificial Intelligence (Beidaihe) Co., Ltd. in the Beidaihe District of Qinhuangdao City.

The joint venture partners include Jiangsu Zhongke Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Sahara Hengxin Family Management Co., Ltd., Shanghai Chenzhixin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Linweishuchen Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Bespawo Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Sangxiang Petrochemical will hold a 40% stake in the new entity.

The AI computing center project will leverage the existing power equipment systems and current land and property assets of the Beidaihe government, combined with low-cost cooling energy supplied by third parties, to construct a 6,000P computing power center. The project has received strong support from the Beidaihe government, encompassing project approval, construction permits, and comprehensive supporting services. Additionally, a government-controlled enterprise in Beidaihe will subsequently take an equity stake in the project.

Once the project is completed and operational, it is expected to transform Sunshine Oil's currently single business and profit model, introducing a new revenue growth driver for the company and laying a solid foundation for its entry into the artificial intelligence sector.
