Memory-related stocks have retreated rapidly from their opening highs. Seagate Technology PLC pared its gain to 3%, having rallied more than 7% at the opening bell. Western Digital trimmed its advance down to 1% after an initial surge above 4%. Micron Technology dipped over 1%, while SanDisk Corp. slumped more than 4%.
