The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index has deepened its decline, losing more than 4% in trading.

Advanced Micro Devices tumbled over 7%, while ASML and Micron Technology each fell more than 6%. Intel dropped more than 4%, and both Nvidia and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company experienced declines exceeding 3%.
