On September 9, a delegation from the Municipal Bureaus of Industry and Information Technology, Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Transportation, and Urban Management visited Wangyue Asphalt Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Luobei County to conduct an on-site inspection of graphite tailings comprehensive utilization. County Party Standing Committee member and Deputy County Governor Xuan Xianda, along with the County Industry and Information Technology Bureau and company representatives, accompanied the delegation during the visit.

During the inspection, the delegation toured the enterprise's production workshops and raw material testing grounds, and listened to detailed briefings on the company's research into replacing natural sand and gravel with tailings sand. The briefings covered test procedures, mix ratio adjustments, capacity absorption, cost calculations, and assessments of technical feasibility. The group proceeded to engage in focused discussions on key areas including raw material supply security, process optimization, quality control measures, workplace safety protocols, and environmental protection standards, systematically identifying both critical challenges and opportunities within the industry's development trajectory.

The delegation emphasized that the resource utilization of graphite tailings represents a pivotal step toward the green, high-quality advancement of the graphite sector. All relevant government departments were urged to strengthen inter-agency coordination and deliver proactive, precise services to help accelerate the enterprise's experimental validation phase and performance testing procedures. The enterprise itself was advised to strictly maintain safety and environmental compliance, refine its production techniques, enhance its experimental datasets, and ensure rigorous product quality standards—thereby smoothing the complete industrial chain from tailings through processing to construction materials and eventual engineering applications.
