Bristow Group Inc. (VTOL) shares plummeted 9.08% in post-market trading following the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results.
The aviation services provider reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $0.44 per share, significantly below the analyst consensus estimate of $0.98 per share. While revenue of $388.7 million exceeded expectations of $384.1 million, the earnings miss and a decline in net income weighed on investor sentiment.
First-quarter net income fell to $13.1 million, down from $18.4 million in the preceding quarter. The company also reported adjusted EBITDA of $59.3 million, missing the IBES estimate of $69.3 million. Despite the quarterly challenges, Bristow Group affirmed its full-year 2026 outlook for adjusted EBITDA in the range of $295 million to $325 million.
