On April 15, China Construction Bank Chairman Zhang Jinliang met with Michele Pignotti, Chief Executive Officer of Italian export credit agency SACE, at the bank's headquarters. The two parties exchanged views on promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Italy, as well as serving enterprises from both countries.

Zhang Jinliang stated that Italy is an important trade partner for China within the European Union. China Construction Bank actively supports high-level opening-up and the global expansion of Chinese enterprises, and is willing to leverage its global network and domestic-overseas coordination advantages to work with SACE in facilitating and serving industrial chain, supply chain, investment, and trade cooperation between companies from both nations.

Pignotti noted that in recent years, SACE has been committed to promoting the introduction of Italian technology and industrial resources into projects involving Chinese enterprises. He expressed hope to strengthen collaboration with China Construction Bank to support the global business expansion and industrial layout of Chinese and Italian companies.

SACE is a wholly state-owned Italian export credit insurance agency, with main businesses covering guarantees, factoring, risk management, consulting, and business matching activities, focusing on supporting the export, innovation, and international operations of Italian enterprises.

Representatives from China Construction Bank's International Business Department, Credit Approval Department, Corporate Business Department, and the Milan branch attended the meeting.
