At the 2026 World Robot Conference Forum, held in Beijing from August 19th to 22nd, Li Quan, Deputy Director of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area Management Committee, highlighted the region's remarkable progress during the main forum session. He stated that Beijing E-Town has now attracted over 300 renowned robotics and embodied intelligence ecosystem enterprises, with the industrial chain scale surpassing RMB 20 billion. The area has essentially established a comprehensive industrial chain system that spans core components, complete machines, and application scenarios, positioning itself as the nation's leading robotics industry cluster.

Leveraging its abundant industrial resources, Beijing E-Town has achieved multiple pioneering milestones in the embodied intelligence sector. The first is innovation leadership. Through national-level platforms, the region has pursued technological breakthroughs and open collaboration, with several self-developed embodied models now ranking among the world's top tier. The area has also deeply implemented its intelligent society experiment plan, established an embodied intelligence data services company, and opened more than 50 real-world demonstration venues across the region. Several open-source datasets have surpassed one million global downloads.

The second milestone is manufacturing leadership. Beijing E-Town has operationalized multiple pilot production lines for humanoid robots at the thousand-unit scale, constructed the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region's first super factory for embodied intelligent robots capable of producing ten thousand units, and built the city's inaugural flexible and agile robotic manufacturing platform. These efforts represent a comprehensive layout across the entire industrial and supply chains.

The third milestone is ecosystem leadership. The region has iteratively upgraded Robot World, the industry's first full-category robot scenario exhibition center, and is proactively developing innovative systems such as robot developer communities and supply chain platforms. Beijing E-Town has also pioneered the world's first embodied intelligence robot 4S store, robotics research institute, and robot-assisted elderly care stations as new business models. Additionally, the area annually hosts the World Robot Conference and humanoid robot marathons, fostering an innovative ecosystem characterized by comprehensive factor support, holistic planning, and full-spectrum empowerment.
