Crazy Sports Group Limited issued a profit warning, indicating that it expects to post a consolidated net loss of up to HK$38.00 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026. The comparable period in 2025 recorded a loss of approximately HK$12.10 million, implying the mid-2026 shortfall could more than triple year on year.
Management attributes the wider deficit primarily to an anticipated HK$16.00 million fair-value loss on financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss. In the same period last year, the Group recorded a HK$7.80 million gain from such assets, marking a negative swing of about HK$23.80 million and accounting for the bulk of the deterioration.
Despite the expected interim setback, the Board states that the Group’s financial, operational, and cash-flow positions remain “healthy.” Strategic execution continues to centre on the “Digital + Sports + Entertainment” roadmap, with emphasis on an AI-driven digital sports entertainment platform and overseas expansion of gaming intellectual properties.
The interim results remain unaudited and subject to finalisation, with the full announcement scheduled for release by end-August 2026. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
