Shanxi Province has recently completed the industrial and commercial registration for its dedicated development fund targeting the low-altitude economy and general aviation sector, according to reports. This milestone marks the official formation of the Shanxi Province Low-Altitude Economy and General Aviation Development Fund Limited Partnership, successfully concluding the fund's setup phase.

This development provides significant momentum for Shanxi's ambitions to expand its low-altitude economy and build a model province for general aviation. The fund structure includes an initial provincial fiscal contribution of 1.5 billion yuan serving as guiding capital, with a registered size of 1.501 billion yuan.

The fund will operate by establishing subsidiary funds, investing through equity and other legally permitted methods. It aims to attract capital from provincial state-owned enterprises, central enterprises, and other social capital sources through project-based fundraising. This strategy is designed to ultimately create a comprehensive fund cluster comprising parent and sub-funds, reaching a total scale of 5 billion yuan.

Investment priorities focus on key areas within the province, including general aviation infrastructure projects, local general aviation manufacturing ventures, and various aviation operation and service initiatives. The fund also targets surrounding industries such as drone technology, as well as technology-driven and innovative enterprises operating within Shanxi.
