Bulletin Express
03/26

Kingsoft Corporation Limited announced a forthcoming change to its board of directors effective 26 March 2026. Independent Non-Executive Director Shun Tak Wong will resign to pursue personal commitments, simultaneously relinquishing his roles as chairman of both the Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee, and as a member of the Audit Committee and Environmental, Social and Governance Committee. The company stated that Mr. Wong has no disagreements with the board and no issues require shareholder attention.

Filling the vacancy, the board appointed Bo Du—aged 42 and a distinguished professor at Wuhan University—as an Independent Non-Executive Director and member of all four aforementioned committees, effective the same date. Mr. Du’s research portfolio covers artificial intelligence, computer vision, large models and medical image processing, with more than 110 IEEE and CCF Class A journal papers and over 42,000 Google Scholar citations in the past five years. He will serve a three-year term with an annual director’s fee of US$65,000 and meets all independence criteria under Hong Kong Listing Rules.

Concurrent with these changes, Jun Lei will become chairman of the Nomination Committee, while Zuotao Chen will assume chairmanship of the Remuneration Committee and join the Nomination Committee.

The board expressed gratitude to Mr. Wong for his contributions and extended a formal welcome to Mr. Du.
