Each elected director will serve until the next annual meeting or until they resign or a successor is elected.

Other Meeting Business

Beyond the director elections, the meeting addressed several other key items.

Shareholders reappointed PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the company's auditor and passed an advisory resolution on executive compensation.

Meanwhile, a shareholder proposal was not approved, indicating investor support for the current governance structure and strategic direction.

Market Interpretation

The successful meeting and the high approval rates for the resolutions are viewed by the market as a vote of confidence from shareholders in the existing leadership and management practices at Thomson Reuters.

This support is seen as beneficial for the company as it continues to maintain its leading position in technology and content within the professional sectors of law, tax, news, and corporate information.
