Mapletree PanAsia Commercial Trust's stock fell sharply by 3.57% during intraday trading on Tuesday, reflecting investor concerns over the trust's latest financial results.
The decline followed the release of the trust's fiscal fourth-quarter results, which showed a 2.6% year-over-year decrease in distribution per unit (DPU) to SG$0.019. The amount available for distribution to unitholders also dropped by 3.3% to SG$100.2 million, while net property income declined by 5.9% to SG$159.6 million.
Despite an improved portfolio committed occupancy of 89.4%, gross revenue edged down 5.5% to SG$210.7 million compared to the same period last year, indicating ongoing challenges in the trust's operational performance.
