Crinetics surges 100% post-market as Vertex plans $10B buyout.

Fiserv climbed 6.20%. The move followed a rebound in its Small Business Index and a Wall Street Journal report that banks discussed acquiring a Fiserv network that could bypass federal debit-card fee caps.

Rivian Automotive, Inc. (RIVN) tumbled 8.99%. The company launched a 75 million share offering to help fund DOE loan obligations, overshadowing preliminary Q2 revenue guidance of $1.55 billion to $1.65 billion above estimates.

SanDisk Corp. declined 2.15%. Shares eased after Samsung's strong Q2 earnings preview spurred a sell-the-news pullback across storage names.

Micron Technology (MU) slid 2.15%. The stock softened alongside memory peers following Samsung's upbeat Q2 preview; an SEC filing also disclosed insider sales by an executive.

SpaceX retreated 1.61%. The stock ticked lower as commentary highlighted elevated volatility since its June listing.

Chip stocks fell, with Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares falling 2.17%, Marvell Technology falling 1.70%.

Memory chip stocks fell, with Roundhill Memory ETF falling 2.52%, Western Digital falling 1.72%.

Among other individual movers, Cooper climbed 2.71%.
