Newtrend Group Holding Co., Ltd. disclosed that Joint Company Secretary, Authorised Representative and Agent for Service of Process, Ms. Cheung Hin Kiu, will step down on 31 July 2026 for personal career reasons. The Board confirmed she has no disagreements with management and expressed gratitude for her service.\n\nEffective the same day, Ms. Kan Chun Nai will assume all three departing roles. Currently an assistant manager in Tricor Services Limited’s company secretarial department, Ms. Kan brings more than five years’ experience in corporate secretarial practice and four years in intellectual-property-related legal work. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Management and a Master of Science in Professional Accounting and Corporate Governance from City University of Hong Kong, and is an Associate of both The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute and The Chartered Governance Institute (UK). Ms. Kan also possesses the HKCGI Certificate in ESG.\n\nMs. Zuo Yue, who became Joint Company Secretary on 1 April 2026 and serves as an executive director and authorised representative, will continue in her current roles. The Stock Exchange previously granted Ms. Zuo a three-year waiver (1 April 2026–31 March 2029) from the professional qualifications requirement under Listing Rules 3.28 and 8.17, conditional on support from a qualified joint secretary.\n\nFollowing Ms. Cheung’s exit, the company secured a new waiver covering the remaining period to 31 March 2029. Conditions attached are: (1) Ms. Kan must assist Ms. Zuo throughout the waiver period; and (2) the waiver is subject to revocation upon any material breach of Listing Rules by the Group. Prior to expiry, the company must demonstrate that Ms. Zuo has gained sufficient experience to perform company secretary duties independently.\n\nChairman Mr. Wang Xiaoqiang welcomed Ms. Kan to the team and reiterated the Board’s commitment to maintaining full compliance with Hong Kong Listing Rules.
