Estun Releases 2025 ESG Report: RMB 4.89 Billion Revenue, Carbon Intensity Down to 1.98 tCO₂ per Million RMB

Estun (02715) has published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing operational, environmental and social performance for the year ended 31 December 2025.

Financial and R&D Highlights • Operating revenue reached RMB 4.89 billion. • R&D expenditure totalled RMB 476 million, equivalent to 9.74% of revenue. • The company held 1,075 cumulative patents and software copyrights, supported by 968 R&D personnel. • Tax contributions amounted to RMB 87.76 million.

ESG Ratings and Governance • S&P Global ESG score of 47, placing Estun in the top 15% of the global IEQ Machinery & Electrical Equipment sector. • Achieved AAA rating from CNI Index and AA ratings from Sino-Securities Index and Wind ESG. • Established a three-tier ESG governance structure led by the board, with an ESG Committee meeting three times during the year.

Climate & Environmental Performance • Total greenhouse-gas emissions fell to 9,689 tCO₂e; emission intensity improved to 1.98 tCO₂e per million RMB revenue. • Self-generated rooftop photovoltaic output rose to 4.13 million kWh, covering 24.85% of electricity demand. • Comprehensive energy consumption intensity declined to 0.66 tce per million RMB revenue. • No environmental violations or pollution incidents were recorded; environmental capex reached RMB 1.98 million.

Operational Quality Metrics • First-pass unpacking yield stood at 99.78%; in-process yield reached 94.83%. • Customer satisfaction scored 91.4 points, up 1.64 points year-on-year. • Supplier integrity commitment signing rate maintained at 100%; no overdue payments to SMEs reported.

Workforce & Safety • Headcount totalled 3,261, with 29.68% of employees in R&D roles. • Average annual paid leave per employee was seven days; social-insurance coverage reached 100%. • Zero work-related fatalities and no lost-time injuries; work-safety investment amounted to RMB 7.04 million.

Community & CSR • Charitable donations totalled RMB 661,500, including RMB 281,900 in “consumer-assistance” rural procurement. • Estun’s volunteer team logged 130 service hours, focusing on STEM education outreach.

Looking Ahead Estun reiterated its goal to achieve operational carbon neutrality by 2050 and to peak operational emissions by 2028, underscoring its commitment to embedding sustainability across its intelligent-manufacturing ecosystem.
