From September 26 to 29, at the 2026 China (Langfang) Agricultural Products Trade Fair, Yanqi Hui Autonomous County organized its County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, the Xinjiang Assistance Command, the County Agricultural Development Group, and the County Tourism Development Group to carefully select 12 local enterprises, bringing 21 distinctive agricultural products and 25 wine products to exhibit, making a concentrated appearance in the "Belt and Road" Quality Agricultural Products Exhibition Zone. The county showcased its selenium-rich agricultural development achievements to merchants and residents from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, conducting product exhibitions, sales, and business matchmaking negotiations.

At the exhibition site, the Yanqi booth was crowded with visitors, and a dazzling array of distinctive products attracted a large number of attending merchants who stopped to inquire. Bright red tomatoes, reddish chili powder, aromatic fennel, along with high-quality selenium-rich grains and oils and diverse styles of wine were neatly displayed, exuding a rich Western Regions charm. "What we brought this time are all superior local agricultural specialties from Yanqi. Relying on the local selenium-rich soil resources, our tomatoes, fennel, and selenium-rich grains and oils stand out in quality, and the wine industry is our signature calling card," introduced Guo Qiang, Deputy County Head of Yanqi Hui Autonomous County.

On site, staff enthusiastically introduced product features, origin advantages, and processing techniques to visiting merchants. Many merchants picked up samples to taste carefully and inquired in detail about product supply channels and cooperation models, creating a lively atmosphere of exchange. Various distinctive agricultural products, with their excellent quality, garnered the attention and praise of numerous buyers. Tong Yang, a relevant person in charge of Xinjiang Fujiang Jiaxin Food Co., Ltd., said: "The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has a vast consumer market with strong demand for high-quality distinctive agricultural products. Through this exhibition, we not only showcased our company's products but also connected with many potential procurement clients, laying a solid foundation for our products to enter the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei market in the future."
