Eagle Nice to Re-Appoint Ernst & Young; FY2027 Audit Fee Projected to Rise 12.4% to up to HK$4.50 million

Bulletin Express
07/24

Eagle Nice (International) Holdings Limited announced that Ernst & Young will retire and immediately stand for re-appointment as the Group’s external auditor at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. The Board, following the audit committee’s recommendation, will seek shareholder approval to re-appoint the firm for the financial year ending 31 March 2027 and to authorise the Board to fix its remuneration.

Management estimates the audit fee for FY2027 at approximately HK$4.00 million to HK$4.50 million, versus the HK$4.00 million paid for FY2026. The projected HK$0.50 million—or 12.4%—increase reflects expected inflation and a potential expansion in audit scope to align with the Group’s operations.

The fee range was negotiated at arm’s length and considers the Group’s size, structure, business complexity, historical audit hours, anticipated audit timetable and resource requirements. Barring material changes in business operations, accounting policies or the regulatory environment—and assuming timely information flow from management—the final fee is not expected to deviate materially from the current estimate.

Any significant variation will prompt further disclosure. Other information in the AGM circular dated 17 July 2026 remains unchanged.
