China Sci-Tech Industrial Investment Group Limited (“the Company,” stock code: 339) has announced a proposed change of its English name to “WebX Holding Group Limited” and adoption of “全球數字控股集團有限公司” as its Chinese secondary name, replacing the current “中國科創產業投資集團有限公司.” According to the announcement dated 26 January 2026, the special general meeting (SGM) will be held to seek shareholders’ approval.

The proposed name change requires two conditions: passing of a special resolution at the SGM and approval by the Registrar of Companies in Bermuda. Upon satisfying these conditions and receipt of the certificate of change of name from Bermuda authorities, the Company will file with the Companies Registry in Hong Kong under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance. The Company states that the move aims to better align with its present outlook and future development.

The name change will not affect existing share certificates, which will remain valid for trading, settlement, and registration. Once the name change becomes effective, the English and Chinese stock short names for trading on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited will also be updated accordingly. A circular containing further details and the SGM notice will be posted on the Company’s and the Stock Exchange’s websites, and dispatched to shareholders who have chosen to receive printed versions. The Company will issue further announcements to confirm the result of the SGM and the effective date of its new name and stock short names.
